Rare Victorian-Era cranberry glass threaded creamer and bowl set, likely manufactured by Stevens & Williams in the 1880's or 1890's. In perfect condition.
Set features delicate cranberry base & white glass threading around the top rim and are raised on clear applied glass feet.
The red color, known as "cranberry" or "gold ruby" glass, was a technique achieved by adding gold chloride to the glass mixture.
This specific style of threaded glass was developed by Stevens & Williams in England during the late 19th century. Creamers are approximately 4 1/2" x 3 1'2 and the mini sugar bowl is 2 1/2" x 2"
